Elegant liquor decanter in solid silver 950/1000 with crystal body, designed by Alphonse Debain of Paris for the Belle Époque, circa 1900–1910, with original cap, height 19 cm, width 8 cm, weight 250 g, marked with the Minerva head assay mark and A D initials.

Elegant liquor decanter, in 950 silver and crystal, - Alphonse Debain
Splendid example of Parisian goldsmith art from the Belle Epoque, this decanter, embodies the French neoclassical elegance of the late 1800s. The piece is the result of the work of one of the most renowned silversmiths of the era, destined for a refined clientele. Technical details and hallmarks:
Silversmith: Alphonse Debain, active in Paris (79 Rue du Temple) between 1883 and 1911.
The hallmark, with the initials "A D" and the goblet symbol, is clearly visible on the mount.
Title of the silver:
Solid silver 950/1000 (First French title).
The quality is guaranteed by the official hallmark "Head of Minerva" which certifies a silver purity higher than the common Sterling 925.
Design and materials:
Body in crystal: the glass is of excellent quality, worked with vertical facets that enhance the brilliance and transparency of the piece.
Original stopper:
The decanter comes complete with its original stopper, perfectly coordinated to the mount in style and size.
