Picture frame - .800 silver - Noble Baroque

Solid silver antique photograph frame in .800 silver, Baroque style with detailed ornamental decorations. Probably German or Italian, 19th century. The man is unknown, but likely an aristocrat, as this type of portrait was often placed in expensive silver frames for men from the upper circles. The frame features a Rococo-style design with floral motifs and a crest. The net silver weight is 234 grams. The back is made of royal blue velvet with a stand, the front against which the photo is placed is made of silk. The external dimensions are: height 26 cm and width 18 cm. The inner size is 17 x 12 cm for a photo of 18 x 14 cm. A unique antique silver piece of history from the 19th century. Ships well packed.
