A wrist chronograph from 1941 signed Universal Genève, in one of the most technically prestigious configurations of the entire production of the Geneva maison: the caliber 386 with column wheel. Not merely a cam-driven lever, but the noblest and most complex chronograph architecture of the era, capable of ensuring a precise, smooth, and durable engagement over time.

Compur is the trade name by which Universal Genève identified its top chronographs and today represents a object of study and cult for the most expert collectors. The external tachymetric scale "Base 1000", with its 45-minute counter at 3 o'clock and the small seconds at 9 o'clock, returns the full professional and instrumental vocation of this timepiece. The blue-steel baton hands are original and perfectly preserved, while the Compur dial with Arabic numerals shows the sober and functional graphics typical of Swiss production. The base metal case of 34.7mm, a material commonly used during periods of raw material restrictions, gives the piece an authentic and unrepeatable historical patina. A wartime-era chronograph, intact and surviving to the present.
