HISTORY / OVERVIEW
The Lancia Gamma Coupé is a refined grand tourer that represents the stylistic and technological evolution of Lancia’s 1970s range. The 1978 auction model is the first series, produced in only 1978 units. The Gamma Coupé, designed by Aldo Brovarone and produced by Pininfarina, features the exclusive boxer engine that ensures smooth driving and high-level comfort.
This model stands as one of the most elegant and sought-after Italian coupes of its era, increasingly appreciated by enthusiasts and collectors. The auction car is a beautiful preserved example: the bodywork is solid and the fabric interiors are clean and well maintained.
EXTERIOR
The exterior paint has been restored in the past to its factory original color, it appears well preserved and in good condition, with a few localized signs of time and normal use. The structure is solid and original, as expected for a car with these original kilometers. A polishing and detailing treatment has just been completed.
The underbody has never undergone interventions, it is well preserved, solid and in compliance with road use, with no signs of accidents.
INTERIOR
The original interiors are in excellent condition, complete with factory-original details including the dashboard and the original steering wheel. The seats are in good condition, as are the door panels and plastics. A sanitizing treatment has just been completed.
MECHANICS
Mechanically the car runs well, starts up immediately and is drivable; the clutch and gears function correctly. The latest technical inspection, just passed in March 2026 and valid until March 2028, showed no defects and the car is road-legal. Still, it is always advisable, before long-distance road use, to perform a general check.

Request help with registration from a third-party service provider.Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
