Icon painted on a wooden panel depicting Christ Pantocrator in bust, blessing with the right hand and holding the Gospel open with the left. The golden cruciform nimbus bears the Greek letters « Ο Ω Ν » (He Who Is).
The Cyrillic inscription on either side clearly identifies the subject:
« Образ Господь Вседержитель » (Image of the Lord Almighty).
The open book presents a text in Church Slavonic, corresponding to a Gospel quotation.
In the upper corners, two medallions depict crowned saints
