Lampette - Desk lamp - Metal, Plastic - Space Age Lampette

Eichhoff Werke "Lampette" Telescopic Lamp – Space Age Design – Germany, 1960s/1970s An iconic piece of interior design from the Space Age: the original Lampette desk and travel lamp, designed by Koch Creations (New York) and manufactured by the renowned West German manufacturer Eichhoff Werke in the 1960s–1970s. This model is a benchmark of functional minimalism and is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The lamp stands out with its vibrant retro orange color and its ingenious, extremely compact structure. Full telescopic system: Both the chrome-plated metal rod and the head (conical reflector) are fully adjustable and extendable. The articulated antenna-like arm allows for 360-degree rotation and height/angle adjustment as needed. Two intensity levels: The base features an original 3-position switch (0 - Off, I - Diffuse ambient light, II - Bright light for reading or working). Foldable design: When fully collapsed, the reflector fits perfectly into the base, transforming the lamp into a compact portable cylinder, extremely easy to store or transport. Operates on 220V with an integrated transformer in the housing that reduces the voltage to 6V. Uses a car bulb with a bayonet socket (BA15s). The base features the authentic original stamp: "LAMPETTE – MADE IN GERMANY
