Four editions by the Australian artist Gary Carsly - self-published - Format: 31 x 20.5 cm (1 copy) and 15 x 10 cm (3 copies) - Binding: ring binder. Condition: Very good. These editions come from the possession of Torch founder Adriaan van der Have. The editions contain only photographs and no text. The artist's name on the front cover. About his work
The technique devised by Gary Carsley himself, 'Draguerreotypes', consists of photographic monoprints that digitally reproduce images of important international parks using a palette of imitation wood grain motifs. Carsley exhibits internationally and has recently had solo exhibitions at: The Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane, Australia; The Visual Arts Center, Summit, New Jersey; Margaret Thatcher Projects, New York, NY and TORCH Gallery, Amsterdam. Major commissions for the public realm include Orchard Central, Singapore (2009), The Sullivan & Cromwell Building, New York (2010) and the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital, Brisbane (2013).

Works by Gary Carsley are held in private collections worldwide and in the permanent collection of many public institutions, such as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and the Australian National Gallery in Canberra.
