Telegraph register - Technical instrument - Germany - 1910-1920 - Morse code writer for the telegraph

This device strongly resembles a Morse writer or telegraph output device from the late 19th or early 20th century.
Function: These devices were used to receive Morse code telegrams and to physically register the pulses by printing dots and dashes on a strip of paper.
Origin: Similar devices were manufactured by well-known manufacturers such as Siemens & Halske in Berlin.
Use: They were essential in telegraph offices, in military communications, and later also in aviation for testing telegraph operators.
Found in an attic, I have no personal knowledge of its operation or completeness.
