This cushion is the Black & White model from the Waan collection, a design with a matching rug and a pouf with which you can configure a relaxed and casual environment at ground level. Behind its apparent simplicity, the Waan collection masks an innovative textile technique born from an experimental process, the result of brilliant research work by Dutch designer Dienke Dekker. The manufacturing process uses thick bicolor yarns, obtained by spiraling two wool threads in contrasting tones. Surprisingly, the use of these voluminous yarns on a loom results in a fabric that looks like a succession of knots. The collection also includes a series of rugs and poufs, all accented with fringed edges.
