 prudentially put up for auction as eighteenth-century this figural plate from Montelupo Fiorentino, the so-called ‘arlecchino’, of the “amorous” type, where a youth is depicted offering a flower to his fiancée and fiancée-to-be. Very probably, however, it dates from the 17th century. Diameter: 31.3 cm; height: 4.2 cm.
Good condition: only slight glaze losses (images 6-7) and chips at the foot. Fine craquelure.
The photos attest to the conservation state of the object. Provenance: from my collection.

Viene prudenzialmente messo in asta come ottocentesco questo piatto figurato di Montelupo Fiorentino cosiddetto ‘arlecchino’ e di tipo “amatorio”, dove è raffigurato un giovane che offre un fiore alla fidanzata e promessa sposa. Molto probabilmente però risale al sec. XVII. Diametro: cm. 31,3; altezza: cm. 4,2. 
Buone condizioni: solo lievi cadute di smalto (immagini 6-7) e sbrecciature al piede. Fine craquelé. 
Le foto attestano lo stato di conservazione dell’oggetto. Provenienza: dalla mia collezione.
