These signs were commonly used outside authorized shops that sold or repaired Necchi sewing machines in the 1960s and 1970s.

Company: The Necchi industrial activity began with Vittorio Necchi's father, Ambrogio, who pursued and continued the family trade as a foundryman inherited from his family.
At the end of the 1880s he took over the family foundry in the center of Pavia to manufacture cast-iron spare parts for sewing machines; 170 workers were employed at the factory.
