Icon - Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius - Wood

Orthodox icon depicting Saints Cyril and Methodius, made with tempera on a wooden panel, datable to the late 19th and early 20th century (circa 1880–1910).
Dimensions: 27 x 31 cm – thickness 2 cm.
Provenance: purchased in Warsaw.
The icon features a gilded background and Cyrillic inscriptions, in line with the iconographic tradition of Eastern Europe. Original panel with rear crossbars.
Conditions: evident signs of age, with wear, color loss, and small edge damages (as shown in the photo). No recent restoration.
An authentic decorative object, ideal for collectors of sacred art or ancient icons.
