Description from the seller
Canon model 7
This is a Canon 7 in very good condition.
Huge combined rangefinder viewfinder for 35–50mm frames – 85/100–135 with parallax correction. Large-base rectangular rangefinder image.
Focal-plane shutter with steel curtains, enabling X, T, B speeds, from 1s to 1/1000s on a single dial.
Coupled selenium cell. Metering window on the top plate.
All mechanical parts are in good working order.
The overall appearance of the camera is clean with minor scratches, wear from normal use.
The light meter works. The shutter is accurate; viewfinder is clear.
The steel shutter for the film chamber is clean, very lightly creased.
The glass of the metering window mirror has a tiny internal crack that is not detectable to the touch (photo).
The body functions well.
I’m reorganizing my collection because the successor isn’t ready yet.
