Head - Antiek mannequin hoofd - Plaster

This is an original antique plaster mannequin/display head of a man (also known as a mannequin or display head). This specific type dates from the first half of the 20th century (roughly the 1930s to the 1950s).
Lifesize: about 28 cm high
It was originally used in shops to display men's hats, glasses, or wigs.
You could place the loose head on a display stand. (see bottom)
Material: Cast plaster with hand-painted details for the hair, eyebrows, and facial contours.
Condition: Authentic vintage condition with signs of wear and paint chipping, which contributes to the patina sought after by collectors.
