Antique Box Lock – Provenance Palazzo Mazzarosa (Lucca)
Beautiful antique box lock (for surface mounting) in wrought iron, dating from the late 19th/early 20th century. The piece is not just a vintage hardware item, but a fragment of local history: it comes from the historic Palazzo Mazzarosa in Lucca, home to one of the city’s most illustrious noble families.
Main features:
• Dimensions: Length 20 cm x Height 13 cm.
• Condition: Fully functional in every mechanical part.
• Completeness: The item is sold with its original key and the corresponding recessed locking escutcheon (strike plate).
