Beautiful Triumph TR4A with unique original Surrey top from 1964 offered.
This TR4, originally delivered to the US, is very unique! The Triumph is in solid used condition, and comes from its 2nd owner.
Originally delivered with Surrey hardtop.
The Triumph has been with the same owner for over 29 years, who has maintained it well.
This wonderful TR4 from 1964 is of the 1st series and is in a neat used condition. The roadster is equipped with original steel wheels painted black with original chrome hubcaps and very good tires. In the color Tartans red with very neat chromework. This color combination is truly stunning! deep red paint in combination with black leather seats, wooden dashboard and Motolita steering wheel.
Exterior:
This Triumph TR4 is in good used condition, the paint is damage-free and good, the chromework is also in reasonably good condition and partly new. Also equipped with original Lucas headlights, a sport exhaust system with a wonderful deep sound. Equipped with stainless steel round mirrors, chrome wipers, Monza fuel cap. The soft top is in good condition including original frame (not mounted yet as there is a Surrey top installed). We also provide with this TR4 a separate Surrey top vinyl cover.
The underbody is solid and completely damage-free
Interior:
The interior features two original black leather seats with beige piping, neat door cards, a wooden dashboard with original Smiths instruments and distinctive convex glass, Triumph gear knob, leather handbrake cover and good Triumph TR4 mats. It is equipped with an original black carpet set. The steering wheel original Motolita and finished with stainless steel and walnut wood.
Both inside and outside in really nice condition.
Technical:
Equipped with the original 2138cc 4-cylinder engine with 105 HP, perfect 4-speed manual and revised carburetors. Very neatly maintained. Of course the mechanics have been fully checked in our workshop and given a complete service.
This TR4A is technically in very good condition and has a wonderful sound.
Details:
This original TR4 is exactly how it should be, a very cool English sports car with a strong 2.1 liter engine and chrome spoke wheels. The Triumph has been loved by its previous owner and was imported in 1993. Always well maintained and stored in a heated garage.
We have a documentation folder and the ‘owners workshop manual’ with the car.
