Description from the seller
This is a Sankei TRH-704X, made in Japan.
Details of the device
It's not just a radio — it's a classic 3-in-1 combo typical of the 1970s:
AM / FM / FM Stereo. Selector on the left front panel and tuning on the right.
The large slot in the center is for 8-track stereo cartridges. It has FF/WD, AUTO, EJECT and RECORD buttons.
The rectangular slot on the front is for 8-track tapes — a format that was trendy in the 70s, especially in cars and home systems.
The 70s:
This model is typical of 1972-1976.
The wood and brushed aluminum design was the standard of the era.
Features:
In addition to the radio, you can connect a turntable to the PHONO input and other sources to AUX. The two microphone jacks are for karaoke.
The AM/FM radio works; the cartridge was not tested because I don''t have it.
The red RECORD button is stuck.
Also, speakers are not included.
Only what is visible in the photos.
For vintage item collectors.
