Special original wooden field camera / bellows camera from the well-known English brand Thornton Pickard, dating from the early 20th century. The camera is made of wood, brass and leather/bellows material and is equipped with an Eastman Kodak F.P.K. Automatic shutter.
This is a classic plate camera for glass plates or sheet film. The camera features fine mechanical adjustment options and an authentic look that is beloved by collectors of photographic antiques and industrial decor.
The bellows are visually still intact and the shutter operates mechanically: it clicks and moves when operated. The camera has not been tested for actual photographic functionality.
The original matte glass/back plate is missing. Otherwise, typical signs of use and age are present.
