Albert Raty, born August 17, 1889 in Bouillon and died May 17, 1970 in Vresse-sur-Semois, is a Belgian painter recognized for his unique style and works that capture rural life and the Ardennes landscapes. He was a member of the Luxembourg Academy and created numerous canvases, some of which are up for public auction. His works are appreciated for their broad and powerful brushwork, reflecting the colors of the Ardennes, and he is a renowned portraitist.
