The upper part of the item represent a Eye, mystical bird for the Yoruba people.
In Yoruba,"Eleye" means "bearer of a bird" and refers to an individual belonging to society, often associated with spiritual power and authority.
These individuals are believed to possess inherent spiritual and supernatural abilities, sometimes involving the ability to transform into birds.
The item is offered with the custom base visible on the pictures, from which it can be removed.
