AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Unusually shaped Chinese blue-and-white porcelain tea caddy, made in Jingdezhen during the 18th or 19th century. The vessel is decorated with a Chilong (mythical dragon) amoung clouds. The marked silver mounting is a later Dutch addition, dating to the early 20th century.

Condition: excellent, What may at first appear to be a ‘chip’ to the footring is in fact a glazed production flaw (see photographs).

Origin: private Dutch collection

Dimensions: 13,4 cm (height) x 7,1 (ø foot) cm

This lot will be properly packed and sent insured with PostNL.
