Hand-formed and turned ceramic decorative vase by Martina Corti, made in Lombardy, Italy, circa 2020+, white gres with rose tones, 21 cm high, 20 cm wide and 20 cm deep, 200 g, in a contemporary style; not water-tight and intended for decorative use only.
Description from the seller
* This is not a vase that can hold water for flowers
Height: 21 cm
Being handmade, there may be slight variations in size and color compared to the photos and between different pieces of the same series.
A vase shaped and turned by hand, with rosy tones on a body of white stoneware clay
The piece was created using the Saggar process. This technique is characterized by its spectacular and unpredictable aesthetics, with decorations that often take on unique and unrepeatable effects.
The piece was fired in the first firing in a neutral atmosphere for about nine hours at 930°C and subsequently, after applying the glaze, it was fired again in a gas-fired kiln at 880°C,
There is nothing toxic or dangerous that could leak out; this vase is for decorative purposes only, do not put water inside. Clean with a dry cloth.
Remember, this is not factory-made, mass-produced ceramic; each vase is unique. All pieces are entirely hand-modeled, turned, and glazed in my studio in Lecco, Italy
