Description from the seller

From my display cabinet I offer an elegant eyeglasses case, probably English, dated 1834, which is in good condition with the exception of one lens not fixed to the clamp - nose (the small fixing screw is missing). Meanwhile the blue velvet interior is almost complete with signs of age. Look carefully at the photos for a correct assessment of the external silver, visibly hallmarked WB6Co - with the anchor and the passant lion indicating that the item is sterling silver (925/1000) and it has been checked and stamped at the Birmingham Assay Office. I am not sure about the indicated date.
The item will be properly packed, shipped with tracking. Shipping to non-European countries may take longer due to customs documentation, while shipping to distant islands such as the Azores must be negotiated.
