Seal for sealing in silver tested probably hallmarked 950/1000, conical in shape resting on a moulded foot. The body is adorned with a finely repoussé decoration of foliate scrolls and floral motifs in a neo-Louis XV style.
The matrix, square with rounded corners, is engraved with an elegant interlaced monogram, executed with finesse, typical of personal or bourgeois use.
Craftsmanship meticulous, beautiful quality of chasing.
Matrix dimensions: 2.3 x 2 cm
Condition: Good condition, slight indentation visible at the top of the handle.
