Wonderful and authentic Art Deco bowl/plate from the legendary French glass artist René Lalique.
Executed in the rare and highly sought-after model “JAFFA”, in an elegant pearl (irisé) finish that gives the object a special depth and play of light.
This piece is a classic example of Lalique’s early pressed glassware, in which simplicity of form and refined finishing come together to form a timeless design object.
The bowl is clearly signed “R. LALIQUE” with an authentic, older signature appropriate to the production period.
Condition
The object is in beautiful original condition.
Any minor signs of use are present and appropriate to the age and material. No chips or the like. See photos for your own assessment.
