Description from the seller

Beautiful and well-running Mini Cooper S, built in 2009, original 1.6 liter 16V engine with a supercharger (hence Cooper S), 128 kW (=174 hp) and mated to a manual six-speed gearbox. This Mini is of the second generation, thereby benefiting among other things from a more modern interior than its predecessor. Very special, this Mini Cooper S Cabriolet has a separate clock that keeps track of how long it has been driven with the top down. In particular, these nice accents give the Mini its special feel. And then the driving itself, with this super-fast version, is a treat!

Documents:

The car was new in Germany and came to the Netherlands in 2019, so it now has a Dutch registration and a valid APK until 17-6-2026. The Mini can be delivered, if desired (for an extra 50 Euro), with EU export papers, so that a foreign new owner can register the Mini easily. An original MINI COC / CVO certificate is also possible, for an extra 70 Euro.

Body:

This Cabriolet Cooper S has a beautiful, original yellow color, see photo; Mini aptly calls this color Interchange Yellow. In terms of rust, this car is above-average good; at the well-known Mini spots (rear hatch, around the taillights, etc.) the car has no rust. Very small signs of use are present, see photos. The Cabriolet roof functions perfectly, looks neat, and has some minor damage. The underside is also very neat, truly a tidy car.
Technical: original MINI alloy wheels with some damage and 17-inch tires.
The Mini has been neatly maintained; there is a service card dated 17 June 2025 available, and stamped maintenance in the service booklets. And since there is no receipt of recent maintenance this year, a service is recommended, which of course applies to any used car; the air conditioning works fine. It handles as good as new, a wonderful car to drive. The car starts immediately, pulls well, shifts, steers and stops perfectly.

Interior:

The car is equipped with a partial leather interior, a leather sport steering wheel with original Mini radio controls, air conditioning, electric windows front and rear and radio. The rear seat could use a cleaning. The upholstery of the front seats is very neat.

Transport:

The car is located in Hengevelde, Netherlands and can of course be picked up there. The car can be delivered within the Netherlands for an extra 150 euro (excluding VAT) (excluding the Wadden Islands).

The seller can arrange relatively inexpensive delivery to the entire EU via a professional transporter.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
