For sale a prestigious lot comprising 8 coins of 500 Lire from the Italian Republic, Caravelle series. The lot includes the sought-after 1958 issue and the last coins minted for circulation in 1967.
Lot composition:
n. 1 coin Year 1958: Circulating specimen, shows a natural patina of time that attests to its authenticity and era.
n. 7 coins Year 1967: Exemplars in excellent condition (SPL - Splendid). The coins feature sharp relief and a metal luster very well preserved.
Technical Specifications (per coin):
The 500 Lire "Caravelle" are an icon of Italian numismatics, minted in 835/1000 silver.

Gross weight: 11.00 g
Silver fineness: 835/1000
Fine silver content: 9.185 g (equivalent to .999 pure silver)
Edge: Raised inscription "REPUBBLICA ITALIANA" followed by the year of issue.
