A large antique Chinese blue and white porcelain shallow dish or basin, dating to the Kangxi period, c.1662–1722.

The interior is painted in underglaze blue with an elegant still-life arrangement, including a vase and scholar’s objects, within double blue line borders. The wide rim is decorated with stylised cloud and floral panels in rich cobalt blue.
