Description from the seller
Marvelous Girl Series
Limited editions of 8 copies + 4 AP (artist proofs) - Aluminum support (print on white vinyl adhered to 2 aluminum plates, back mounting, and front soft lamination anti-UV and humidity). Certificate of authenticity
F2B studied brilliantly at the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris.
Art Director, then Creative Director in an agency, F2B finds all his inspiration in brand identity. Freed in his Art from any advertising constraint, F2B takes pleasure in associating and distorting logotypes, icons and other mass-market emblems.
Two fundamental elements will guide his creations: the use of the female body in advertising to sell, and the power that logotypes exert in our urban environment. He creates, through this association of ideas, the “BrandBabes,” a kind of PinUp where logos dress the bodies of women. With the series “Marvelous Girl,” this time it is the “superheroes” who envelop the female silhouettes, thus creating new heroines.
