Marie Amédro - Mouvement noir n°4

Marie's work explores the dialogue between abstract painting and contemporary calligraphy. With Chinese ink on paper, she develops a spontaneous gestural writing that she then transfers onto canvas with acrylic paint. The incorporation of natural materials, such as sand or linen, slows the gaze and introduces a tactile dimension, thereby creating a tension between movement, surface, and silence. Her works thus offer a contemplative and meditative experience.
