Description from the seller
Offrande #03 — EA01 | Fine Art Pigment Print
Limited edition: 1/8 + 2 artist’s proofs (EA)
The female body stands in a withdrawn posture, between modesty, tension, and silent presence.
Facing it, the bowl and the eggs compose a simple, almost ritual still life.
The image plays with the balance of shapes, the softness of the grain, and the density of the shadows.
An intimate composition where the body, the gestures, and the objects establish a suspended offering scene.
Collector Edition — Atelier Alonso
Image size: 40 × 27 cm
Sheet size: 40 × 50 cm
Fine Art pigment print (museum quality)
Paper: Fine Art Litho Archiv Matte
Signed, numbered, stamped on the reverse and accompanied by an authenticity certificate
Secure shipping — frame not included
Creative process
Photograph built around the female body and still life elements.
The work relies on composition, photomontage, light, framing, and refined retouching of textures, contrasts, and tones.
About the artist
Born in Havana in 1972, Alonso is a Cuban-Spanish visual artist whose career links cinema, photography, and contemporary image. Trained in Madrid, he began in cinema as an assistant director and camera operator, collaborating notably with Bertrand Fèvre, Pedro Almodóvar, and José Luis García Sánchez. This crossing of cinema permanently marks his relationship to the frame, to silence, and to rhythm. Based in Arles, he today develops a visual body of work present in private collections in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
