Numerous black-and-white and color illustrations, 120 plates on separate leaves.
First volume without a soft cover, water stains on the margins of the second and third volumes.
I took several photos to show the true condition of the books, at some point in their life; volumes II and III were affected by water, but were restored and are now in a truly very acceptable state, perfectly readable and fully legible.
Half-English bindings in leather.
