All automatic watches must be wound initially, even when worn, as wrist movement alone is not enough to maintain the necessary power reserve.

RULE FOR ALL WATCHES WITH DATE
To avoid possible damage to the movement, please do not set the date with the crown when the time is between 21:00 and 03:00. It is recommended to set the date with the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55 (Some models have a screw-down crown; to adjust, gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Remember to screw the crown back in firmly after adjusting.)
