Of solid silver, octagonal bezel finely engraved with a dove standing in front of an olive branch, a cross above. The shank embellished with deeply incised acanthus decoration. Exquisite.
Size: USA= 6 3/4 - GB= N - 1.8 cm D inside
Material: Silver, 5.1 grms
Culture: Byzantine, c. 6th - 7th Century A.D.
Condition: Intact
Provenance: British private collection of the 1990s.
