Baccarat “Michel Ange” crystal perfume bottle, circa 1910–1920, with height 13 cm, width 9 cm, depth 4 cm, made in France, in good condition with small signs of age.

Baccarat “Michel Ange” – Faceted Crystal Carved Perfume Bottle – ca. 1900/1910
Extraordinary and refined perfume bottle in cut crystal produced by the renowned Baccarat maison in the early 20th century, belonging to the sought-after “Michel Ange” model, today highly appreciated by collectors of vintage French glass.
The piece immediately impresses with the quality of the workmanship: the crystal, brilliant and of great clarity, is adorned with a very fine acido- and wheel-carved decoration, composed of elegant floral scrolls, plant motifs and rich ornamental interlacings of Art Nouveau taste. At the center of the decorative composition sits a large stylized cup surrounded by perfectly balanced arabesques, created with extraordinary precision.
The original stopper, also decorated, harmoniously completes the composition, giving the whole an rare and timeless elegance. A object born as a luxury toilet container but that today also admirably serves as a decorative element for sophisticated interiors, vanity collections, cabinets de curiosités or classic and contemporary interiors.
