Description from the seller
Rectangular mirror, Cristal Art model 2712 – Italy, 1970s
Elegant rectangular mirror produced by Cristal Art, model 2712, featuring a scenographic and thick blue concave crystal frame that surrounds the central mirrored glass.
The mirror is supported by refined brass mounts fixed to a wooden support, creating a captivating suspended effect that gives lightness and depth to the composition.
The design is striking and refined: the mirror appears to “float” inside the colored glass frame thanks to the metal uprights, a distinctive element of Cristal Art production from the 1960s–1970s. The result is a decorative object with great stage presence, capable of enhancing both classic interiors and contemporary spaces.
Quintessential in design and impeccable in execution, this iconic Cristal Art mirror perfectly represents the quality and elegance of postwar Italian design.
Conditions:
The mirror is in excellent condition. The brass mounts show a natural patina of time, visible in the photographs, which testifies to the authenticity and charm of the vintage object. The crystal and the mirror are well preserved.
Dimensions:
100 × 65 cm
