Heavy Silver Miniature Harspot / Paint Can.
From Koninklijke Begeer (1949) a Jubilee piece "1849" and weighs 32 grams.
A very rare, exceptionally heavy silver miniature (small-silver/puppet goods) in the form of a historic 19th-century harspot or open paint can with a soldered-on handle.
This unique object was manufactured in 1949 by the world-famous silver factory Koninklijke Begeer.
It concerns an exclusive 100-year commemorative gift in memory of the year 1849 (foundation of a historic Dutch paint factory or the painter’s craft).
With a weight of no less than 32 grams and a height of 3.3 cm, this is a very substantial, solid, and high-quality piece for the serious collector of Hollands kleinzilver or industrial history.
