Elegant 12-person service in 800 silver plate, composed of 78 total pieces, with a classical finely chased decoration on the handle, typical of high-quality productions from the first half of the 1900s.
The set is presented complete, well preserved and kept in its cloth roll.

Conditions

General condition good, with a uniform patina of time and normal signs of use compatible with age. Note the need for a thorough polishing. The plating remains uniform and still well preserved, with good luminosity. No significant structural deformations are detected.

The set is fully functional and suitable for use, and also suitable as a decorative service for vintage-style place settings.

Technical note
The ARG 800 hallmark does not identify solid silver, but a base metal object plated with silver. The abbreviation
“ARG” indicates the silvered nature of the object, while the number “800” refers to the silver fineness used for plating (800/1000), corresponding to 80% pure silver and 20% binding metals.
