Centrepiece - Bronze, Brass - Musketeer

Very interesting and unique form, image.

Baroque decorative plaque made by the casting technique in bronze or high-quality brass.
The image probably comes from a period later than the early 20th century, it is likely much older.
Depicts an idealized portrait of a cavalier/musketeer in the characteristic attire of the era: with a wide-brimmed hat, long wavy hair, mousquetaire-type mustache, and a small goatee (à la royale).
The surface is preserved with natural, noble patina, without conservation intervention. Very good legibility of the sculptural detail.
