Description from the seller
2 vintage Italian artistic ceramic vases/ewers, attributed to the celebrated Bertoncello Ceramiche d'Arte, designed by Roberto Rigon between the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Main features
Design and Style: It is distinguished by a sinuous, slender line, typical of Mid-Century Modern and Space Age styles. It features a very elongated neck, an inclined asymmetrical opening, and an integrated handle that organically follows the curvature of the form.
Glazing: The surface finish described as "foam" or granite-like features beige, ochre, and burnt brown tones. This material color combination is a true hallmark of Bertoncello’s production from that period, also known for the tobacco-colored glaze and rough textures.
