Description from the seller
Important set of furniture in carved solid wood, of large dimensions, composed of a central body and two independent display cases/side units, executed in a French-inspired neo-Renaissance / neo-Gothic style, probably from the first half of the 20th century. The set stands out for its exuberant sculptural decoration with reserves of vegetal-scroll motifs, carved fluted columns, cut-out moldings and bronze hardware worked in a revivalist taste. The central body features a richly ornate upper drawer, lower compartments with padded doors and ample interior storage space. The side display cases follow the architectural design of the main piece, creating a monumental and harmonious whole. The wood presents a dark tonality and pronounced grains, conferring a strong decorative presence. Interior with original shelves. Keeps hardware and key. Signs of use and wear compatible with antiquity and function. Central body: 206 x 219 x 50 cm. Each side/display cabinet: 206 x 62 x 50 cm
