Art Deco christening set in silver-plated white metal - L. Osmin (Pau) - circa 1930
Description :
Splendid Art Deco christening/birth set, complete and period-accurate (circa 1925-1935) in silver-plated white metal of high Parisian manufacture. The pieces bear a square factory hallmark with the letter "J" positioned at the bottom left, accompanied by a stylized central motif of great finesse.
This elite service has been selected, customized, and marketed by the prestigious jewelry/watchmaking house L. Osmin (with locations in Pau and Oloron), a historic reference point for high society in the French Pyrenees region. The items feature an elegant engraved period monogram "M.C.D.".
The set is complete and bears the era’s characteristic official French weight stamps: stamp 12 on the spoon, and stamps 2 and 4 on the glass, the egg cup, and the napkin ring, guaranteeing professional silver plating calibrated to the different surfaces.
Stored in its original case in excellent condition. An authentic piece of jewelry/collectible, ideal for Art Deco lovers and vintage tableware."
