A large ovoid shaped porcelain serving dish, measuring circa 39cm in length and weighing 1184g, very finely decorated in underglaze blue with central medallion bearing four pomegranates and four chilongs on a diaper ground, the flat surface with four groups to the corners, each depicting floral arrangements with precious objects, the contoured rim with a band of diaper pattern. Estimated age: Second half of the 18th century. Condition: A few spots of fritting, small chip to the reverse rim. Overall very presentable. No hairlines.
