The Galerie des Dominicains offers art objects from all over Africa. It mainly belongs to the private collection of Mr. Jean Louis Viot, an art enthusiast from all horizons. Lawyer, then director of a large real estate group, Restorer of listed old buildings (MALRAUX Law), then antique dealer, art dealer... he discovered the First Arts in the 1980s and since then has tried to gather a variety of eclectic objects from all African countries, including Madagascar. He shares his passion with you today by giving up a part of his collection that is so dear to him. These sculptures, figurines, fetishes, and other masks were all chosen with fervor and love, from enthusiasts like him but also from major collectors, gallery owners, or other antique dealers.
