This lamp is a vintage Mid-Century Modern or 'Space Age' Sputnik table lamp, probably from the 1970s.
Design: The lamp features a spherical metal shade adorned with multiple colored glass cabochons (eyes) in blue and green tones
.Light effect: Through the glass inlays and pierced star-shaped motifs the lamp projects a pattern of stars and colors in the surroundings.
The whole is in reasonably unrestored condition with signs of use appropriate to the age and use, including some discoloration of the metal and one eye is slightly dented.

Deze lamp is een vintage Mid-Century Modern of 'Space Age' Sputnik-tafellamp, waarschijnlijk uit de jaren '70.
Ontwerp: De lamp heeft een bolvormige metalen kap die is versierd met meerdere gekleurde glazen cabochons (ogen) in blauwe en groene tinten
.Lichteffect: Door de glazen inzetstukken en geperforeerde stervormige motieven projecteert de lamp een patroon van sterren en kleuren in de omgeving.
Het geheel is in redelijke ongerestaureerde staat met gebruikerssporen passend bij de leeftijd en gebruik waaronder wat verkleuring van het metaal  en er is 1 oog iets gedeukt.
