Description from the seller

Beautiful set of 2 vintage Japanese kitchen knives, consisting of an usuba and a deba, both equipped with traditional Japanese markings and wooden handles. Authentic knives with character, originating from Japan and made in the traditional Japanese knife style.

The usuba has a total length of about 31 cm and is ideal for extremely fine vegetable slicing and precise kitchen preparations. The deba measures about 30 cm in total and is a more powerful knife, traditionally used for fish and heavier cutting. Both knives sit nicely in the hand and have a beautiful sober appearance with visible patina that perfectly suits vintage Japanese tools.

The knives are sharp and demonstrate the quality of older Japanese knives, built to last for years. The steel has a nice authentic look with normal signs of use appropriate to age and use. Very decorative for collectors, but of course also perfectly usable in the kitchen.

Ideal for enthusiasts of Japanese kitchen knives, Asian culinary culture, or vintage quality tools.
