The MX-V has reached EVO category and is the new reference for MX, Enduro and off-road use. The round and smooth shape of an Arai helmet works to enhance protection. For this reason, no edge or protrusion too pronounced will be part of the shell of an Arai helmet.

Arai's protection priority: the core design philosophy of producing outer shells that are rounder, smoother, and more resistant to improve the performance of the ''Glancing Off'' is key to this achievement, as are the rigorous internal criteria that all Arai helmets must meet.

Outer shell: cLc (complex Laminate construction) Contains a specially designed composite fiber interlaid between the two layers of Super Fiber Laminate. The composite fiber acts as a reinforcement layer without significantly increasing the helmet's weight.
Ventilation: Easy-to-clean diffusers create a strong venturi vacuum at the rear. Central top ventilation to increase airflow. The air intake under the visor collects and directs cool air into the helmet. The interior ventilation stop for the chin prevents debris from entering the helmet in dusty riding conditions. Goggles ventilation and lower side openings.

DryCool lining: the DryCool interior lining, fully removable and washable, has been developed and tested in MotoGP. It uses micro water cells to improve the transfer of moisture and heat from the head to the airflow and dries much faster than conventional fabrics. Keeps the head cooler and drier during long rides.

Facial Contour System (FCS): to offer an even better fit and increase comfort of the lower jaw, the Facial Contour System (FCS) works with a foam spring support in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds.
