Issue corresponding to the French colonial period of the Comoros archipelago, with a design coherent with the rest of the 1964 series but in a higher denomination. The obverse features the allegorical female figure of the French Republic, left profile, with excellent definition in the hair, the winged headdress and facial features, while the reverse presents a detailed tropical scene with palm trees, indigenous plants and the central value highlighted. The specimen retains an intense, uniform original luster, with clean fields and crisp relief, supporting its attractive MS66 grade and making it a particularly representative and visually striking piece within modern African numismatics influenced by France.
