Description from the seller
The Revox A50 was launched in 1968, marking the first time the Swiss brand offered the general public a complete hi-fi system. It introduced the integrated amplifier A50, the A76 tuner, the A77 reel-to-reel recorder and a series of speakers from the 46 series, which comprised five models to realize a high-end, and very expensive, hi-fi setup.
The Revox A50 features a front panel entirely in aluminium, with a removable strip that permits access to the input level adjustments for line and phono inputs. With the brand's traditional knobs and the elegant wooden cabinet, the A50 has an unmistakably 1970s look, combining style and functionality in a discreet and refined package.
With 2 x 40 watts per channel, it easily drives many modern loudspeakers, offering excellent dynamics and that neutrality typical of Swiss amplifiers: a true treat for music lovers.
