These KEF iQ50 speakers are sold as a matched stereo pair—ideal for left/right placement in your listening room. Each speaker features KEF’s celebrated Uni-Q point-source driver array, combining tweeter and midrange/woofer in coaxial alignment for improved imaging and a coherent, spacious sound field.
With a 2.5-way design (dual bass drivers plus mid/high section), the iQ50 is able to produce satisfying bass extension while maintaining clarity in the midrange and smoothness in the treble. The cabinet is ported (bass-reflex), tuned to extend usable low frequencies without coloration. The visual design is slim and elegant for a floorstander: its grille can be removed to reveal the driver arrangement.
These speakers perform well with moderate amplification—needing neither extremely high power nor extreme sensitivity. Their tonal character is often praised for being musical and well-balanced, and their compact footprint for a floorstander makes them a versatile choice for many room sizes.
